Our key academy coach is Assistant Professional Joe Macilwraith. He is fully qualified to teach young people and is DBS-checked.

As a passionate golf coach, it is within my best interest to help grow the great game of golf by introducing young people to all the benefits golf has to offer, including: having fun and enjoying themselves , developing life, social and communication skills, having the opportunity to meet and make new friends as well as living a healthy lifestyle by performing physical activity and being in the great outdoors!

Golf has given me so much and I have been extremely lucky to be a part of successful junior academies and sections as a junior from a young age. It’s an honour now that I have the opportunity to give back to the game and help our up and coming participants learn, play and enjoy the game all in a fun and safe environment.
